Seasonal Single Origin Coffee Beans - Indonesia, Brazil, Guatemala

Our new vibrant single origin coffee beans from Indonesia, Brazil and Guatemala have been selected for their exceptional character and quality. Each origin has been chosen not only for its quality but for the unique flavour experience it offers -from bold to delicate, fruity to floral, this collection captures the essence of the season.

Indonesia Gayo Highland

Situated within the Bener Meriah and Central Aceh districts of the Gayo Highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia, Kopepi Ketiara Cooperative is a women-led coffee cooperative notable for its focus on gender equity and social change. The cooperative was founded in 2009 with just 38 and has grown to nearly 2000, the majority of whom are women. Ketiara has also placed a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and improving the livelihood of the community through initiatives such as organic farming workshops and seedling donations.

Over 1000 farmers manage around 1000 hectares of coffee farms, 70% of which are in Bener Mariah and 30% in Central Aceh. The region’s high elevation (1200-1500 metres above sea level), cool climate and volcanic soil provides an ideal climate for cultivating high quality Arabica coffee. The region’s microclimates coupled with the wet-hulled “Gilling Basah” processing method used by the cooperative results in a flavour profile characterised by notes of chocolate, tropical fruit, sweet spices and herbal undertones.

Coffee from Indonesia presents a harmonious fusion of jammy sweetness complemented by vivid blueberry undertones. The luxurious, creamy body delivers an exquisite mouthfeel, while its refined texture and pronounced fruit character culminate in an indulgent yet comforting sensory experience.

Brazil Minas Gerais

This distinguished Brazilian single origin coffee presents a harmonious profile where delicate honey sweetness intertwines with subtle floral undertones, culminating in an elegant almond finish. The cup reveals a refined character with impeccable balance and pristine clarity.

This Brazil Yellow Bourbon is produced by the Santa Cruz da Vargem Co-operative, located in the southern region of Minas. The cooperative has gained recognition for its dedication to regenerative agriculture and sustainability and places a strong emphasis on soil health, water conservation and tree management in the production of coffee. Over 20 families live and work on the farm.

Brazil Yellow Bourbon was first cultivated in the 1930s and is known for its distinctive appearance and cup profile. The coffee is a natural mutation of Red Bourbon which is known for its sweet and complex flavour.

The region of South Minas where the coffee is cultivated benefits from a microclimate consisting of rainy summers and dry harvest seasons as well as a steep terrain. The average rainfall temperature in this area is 20.2 degrees which allows for the production of coffees with striking body and acidity. The cherries are washed on the same day they are picked and spend the night in a sheet metal hopper before being taken to African beds to dry until the beans reach a 15% humidity level. Once they have reached optimum dryness, they are moved to a granary where they rest for 60 days, which allows the moisture to homogenise through the lot.

Guatemala Nuevo Oriente

The Olopita cooperative is a community of coffee farmers that works to cultivate exceptional coffee as well as improve the lives of its 149 smallholder families. The cooperative is based in the region of Nuevo Oriente, which is shaped by ancient volcanic activity leaving behind soil rich in minerals that nourish the coffee plants.

The farms in this region are perched at altitudes between 1200 and 1800 metres and benefit from a cool, humid climate that slows the maturation of coffee cherries, resulting in the development of deep and complex flavours. This is further enhanced by the shade of native trees under which the coffee varieties (e.g. Caturra, Pacamara and Pache) thrive.

This unique environment produces beans with a rich, full-bodied profile, layered with notes of chocolate, caramel, and bright citrus acidity. After harvest, the cherries are sent to a traditional wet processing mill to highlight the beans’ bright, clean flavours. They are then prepared for export by Sucafina Guatemala which has connected Olopita’s farmers with global buyers since 2024. This partnership has successfully promoted equality sustainability through ensuring fair prices and offering technical support to farmers.

This single-origin selection presents an intricate flavour composition, balancing ethereal floral notes against the vibrant, succulent sweetness reminiscent of fresh raspberries. The tasting experience evolves with remarkable complexity, revealing multiple dimensions that harmonize vivacity with refined sophistication. It's a beautifully crafted cup that lingers on the palate, celebrating the harmony of nature and unique climate.
